Chef Sham worked as a Restaurant Partner in his native China for three years, after which he decided to migrate to US in 2012. He worked for various Chinese restaurants while putting himself through culinary school at the Xiao Ming Culinary Institute, earning the recognition of being hard-working, talented, and fervent.

In 2015, Pedro worked for Lei Lin, which was Shanghai’s #1 restaurant at the time. While there, Sham brought his sharpened skills and positively to the kitchen that genuinely fostered a wonderful environment. Soon after, Sham landed the opportunity to join the Dao Ming Tzu team, starting out as a Chef De Partie, and has quickly worked his way up to become the Executive Chef that he is today.
